Business models are increasingly the key determinant of successful innovation projects, and innovation in business modeling is increasingly the differentiating (or disrupting) dimension of any successful new project or business. Understanding the business model as a complex adaptive system with interdependencies and implicit tradeoffs, practicing and applying both a traditional and dynamic business modeling process hands-on, and learning how to integrate new approaches like circular economy, new technology, and lean startup will be addressed in this highly interactive two-day workshop. Learning objectives: • Understand the concept of business models in all its complexity and interdependency • Comprehend and analyze existing and emerging business models • Apply dynamic business modeling to develop and design new business models • Integrate new technologies, circular economy and lean startup principles into existing or novel business models • Design innovative energy business models • Present a business model as part of a project finance request or business plan |
